CRA Myaccount new feature : Stay logged on for 8 hours without Multi-Factor Authentication

One of the changes for tax year 2021 filing in year 2022 tax season is that CRA has now made an option to forego multi-factor authentication (Second level login by sending a text message to your phone) for 8 hours on one device.

You can easily opt in for this feature by logging in - doing the first time verification via text, email or phone call and then by ticking "Do not ask me to input a one time passcode for the next eight hours when i sign in using this device " check box.

This feature will be useful at the time of filing when you have to go in to upload and download documents and view previous years files.
